Description

So this is my second published Iray test render. Much better than the first one :)

2 curved mesh lights, 1 photometric spot as rim light, no environment map on the dome.
2h render time: (GeForce GTX 560 Ti): 2578 iterations, 19.159s init
Postwork in Photoshop, similar to my other renders.

Again the metal/reflections look a lot better like anything I ever managed to get from 3Delight.
Skin does look a lot better in this one compared to the first render. I tweaked the skin shader a bit. Don't like the IRay skin shader for Gen2. For such dark skin it does not look too bad.

Main problem is still that I have to relearn everything from scratch. Completely different lighting and shader settings compared to 3Delight.
Second one looks a lot better than the first. Still don't know if I like it better than the 3Delight render though. let me know what you think.

I probably need a new nvidia card to have fun with Iray. With my old 560ti it is still far too slow for my liking.

If you want to know anything, just ask.

Edit: Since this are the first steps with the new render engine IRay, I would very much appreciate your comments on what you like or dislike in this render. Also compared to my other 3Delight renders. That would really help. Thank you all :)
